Car parking

There’s plenty of free parking available in Bildeston. Please be considerate when parking your car so you don’t restrict access to the pavement or driveways.

There are free car parks at Chamberlin Hall, located at the end of Chamberlin Close and the Sports Pavilion at the end of Consent Lane.

A limited amount of free parking is also available at the Market Place. If you do choose to travel here by car, please respect our village by refraining from parking where there are yellow lines or where you may block people’s entrances/restrict access to the pavement for wheelchair users or for people using pushchairs.

Speed restrictions

Ensure you travel within the speed limit and be cautious – there is a local primary school and plenty of young and elderly village residents who walk along the High Street which is particularly narrow in parts.
