Bildeston has a number of shops and local businesses, including Bildeston Stores and Post Office located in the market square, which also houses a coffee shop next door. Further down the High Street you can find the Lifecycle Independent bike shop and Studio 66 Hairdressers. Fish and chips are sold on the market square on a Thursday evening and Friday lunchtime.
The village also hosts a monthly indoor market at Chamberlin Hall, as well as pop-up exhibitions from A2 Arts and Fêtes run by the Boule-in. Pop-up shopping and food sale events will be advertised in the village-wide events calendar.

Bildeston Village Stores and Post Office sells groceries, bread and essential goods. There’s also the option to enjoy a fresh tea or coffee at the Coffee Shop next door.
Opening times:
Monday-Saturday 7am-6pm
Sunday 9-12pm

Lifecycle Bike Store
Lifecycle is a specialist bike shop, selling bikes based on hands-on experience. Offering a large selection of road, mountain and hybrid bikes, the shop also offers a tailor-made bike service and can build you a bespoke bike from a wide range of frame and component manufacturers.

Studio 66 Hairdressers
Studio 66 offers a friendly service from its professional team. Based on the High Street, the shop is open Tuesday – Saturday.
Tuesday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturdays 8am – 1pm.

Indoor market
The monthly indoor market sells local crafts and produce all in the comfort of the modern facilities of Chamberlin Hall. please Refreshments are available throughout. The market incorporates a car boot and table-top sale in the car park during some summer months too.
Typically the market is held on the second Saturday of the month, excluding December-February. However, please check the village events calendar to confirm the date of the next market.

Ye Flying Friar Fish Shop visits Bildeston Market Square on a Thursday 4.30-7pm and Fridays 11:30-1:30pm.

A family-run gallery and boutique providing a platform for emerging local and London based artists based in Consent Lane, Bildeston.
Linda and Neil Ashwell set up A2ARTS gallery to encourage young and emerging artists to exhibit their artwork and raise their profile with minimum expense and in a beautiful space.
