Jubilee fun day thanks

Myself and the team who organised the Jubilee Funday were thrilled to see so many of you supporting the event and having a good time, although the weather turned on us about 4.30pm. The hot dogs and burgers were a big hit and so were the teas and cakes, everyone had a go on the stalls and there was much laughter. We had over 250
items on the tombola and 58 raffle prizes. I would like to thank everyone who helped on the day and in any other way to make this happen.

Thank you to Bildeston Bugle for doing all our advertising and for the genrous donation, also thank you to the Parish Council for their donation and to the Henry Morphew Fund who purchased all the medals. We do have some left at £2 each – 01449 257059 – first come first served!

My personal thanks go to the Trustees of Bildeston Sportsfield, especially Angela Chapman, Elaine Talbot and Alex Banks, for allowing us to use the their facilities and for all their help.

Everyone who won a raffle prize has been contacted.

If you look in your June Bugle and find a number 70 (5 are hidden) ring me on 01449 257059 and tell me where you found it, you will win a prize!

The list is far too long to write everyone’s name, but I really appreciate everyones help. A special mention to Robin Sidgwick who made the Bowling for a Pig, so hilarious and fun, and to Will Pratt who just did anything we asked him to do. I’m so grateful to my husband Kevin who took me anywhere that I needed to go as I don’t drive. I’m sure I drove him around the bend at times. Lastly I would like to thank all the residents of Bildeaston and their fami.ies for supporting the event, it was lovely to get everyone together and see them having fun.
With my heartfelt thanks

Chris Clarke
