DESCRIPTION:I was sorry not to be able to attend the first meeting after our summer break\, but it goes to show that Covid is still a part of our lives that we will have to cope with for a while longer. \nAngela from Able Community Care gave a talk about the provision of care since the late 1940’s and was able to answer a lot of queries to do with care for our own elderly relatives\, or indeed the future needs which we ourselves might encounter. She left everyone with a “Goody Bag” to enjoy – rather like being at a party!! \nIn October\, we will get down to some serious business. Firstly\, we need to decide on our Charity Of The Year. I already have two proposals\, but please let me know if you would like to put forward further suggestions. \nOn a much lighter note\, I will have all the details of our Christmas celebration meal\, to be held this year at The Bildeston Crown.
